So you are looking to record a song, EP, or album, and you have decided your friend Joebob and the $5 microphone inside a makeshift vocal isolation booth made up of his grandmas throw pillows, and that tablecloth from 1987, just isn’t the way you want to go this time. So you google, and a list pops up of the Recording Studio’s closest to you, and some have some great reviews, and some have none at all. So you start asking around, and you start to learn that everyone’s answer is opinion based and not really rooted in fact. So here is how we can help.
Choosing the right recording studio is one of the most crucial decisions an artist can make in their creative journey. A recording studio isn’t just a space where tracks are laid down—it’s a creative environment that can directly impact the quality of the final product. While many artists might assume that top-tier equipment is the only factor to consider, there’s much more to it. This is a price that they are willing to work you into the schedule for, despite not really wanting to. What I am saying is don’t get your hopes set on a studio until you have talked to them.
